The USC Viterbi School of Engineering‘s AI Hubs highlight major research concentration areas that are transforming the field of AI. AI Hubs represent groups of researchers that collaborate through joint funded projects. This creates a dynamic ecosystem for AI research at USC, and reflects our highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.
AI Hubs complement USC centers that focus on more explicitly coordinated AI research and education activities, including:
- Machine Learning Center (MaSCLe)
- Center for Artificial Intelligence in Society (CAIS)
- Robotics and Autonomous Systems Center (RASC)
- Center on Secure and Trusted Machine Learning
AI Hubs span several institutes and departments at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering:
- Information Sciences Institute (ISI) and its AI group
- Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT)
- Department of Computer Science
- Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
among others.
